NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT—HAMMOND KNIVES, THE NEXT GENERATION
After more than 37 years in Arab, AL., Hammond Knives & Designs, LLC has relocated to Pelham, AL., south of Birmingham, into a new and larger shop facility. With this relocation, all custom knives made after September 1, 2014 will have the new logo showing Pelham, AL. instead of Arab. In addition, due to the change, each knife subsequently made from every Hammond knife series (SEALTAC, Flesheater, etc.) will be serial numbered starting once again at serial #1. This change will add a special distinction to those knives crafted over the years in the first two knife shops in Arab and provide a clear separation of identification for collectors and users for this next generation of Jim Hammond knives. To be sure, the standards of quality and old-world craftsmanship will remain the same as before because hand-crafted excellence should never be compromised.

The Stone of David by Matt Doss
(Featuring the Hammond Flesheater 3)
"Matt Doss has created an amazingly original and perfectly executed work in his soon to be published first book, The Stone of David.
Geographically, we move from the mountains of North Carolina and an illusion of safety to New York, Rome, and the Middle East in a maelstrom of violence and danger.Emotionally, we ride a wild roller coaster of suspense, intrigue, and romance, with each development made real by precision of language, believability of character, extensive knowledge of the tenuous balance between good and evil, and evidence of intensive research of ancient history, modern weaponry, and multiple locales, not to mention the human psyche.I am excited by the introduction of a major new writing talent fully capable of successfully dealing with a previously unheard of premise as only a first rate professional could."
